I have so many memories of my moma and my daddy i could never write them down. They are always in my heart and on my mind. I miss them both so much. Probably all of our best memories were out on that front porch of their little house. That was our meeting place to eat, laugh, and we had fun. That little house is still standing and we all go by it most everyday and some of us still sit out their on that porch. My brother and his wife bought the house and they now live there so as long as they are there our memories will always be close. It didn't take much to make moma or daddy happy. I can remember when daddy passed away moma was so scared she was going to have to move out of her house because she didn't think she could afford it and she cried. You would have thought it was a mansion to her. But we seen she got to stay in her little house until she passed away. I love moma and daddy so much and miss them with all my heart.

I have many memories I could share but no room for all of them. I remmember one day Wilma went to Sikeston with me to buy some groceries, before we left I had to go by school and pick up Sharon. Just as we left town it started snowing, just a few flurries at first, then it kept getting harder and more like a blizzard, by the time we left Sikeston it was a blizzard. We both thought we were not going to make it home. I could not see anything in front, back, beside us on the interstate.We had to travel at a snails pace. It took us about 2 hours to get back home. We both were very nervous and scared before we reached home. But with the grace of God we made it. We never tried that again.
